Ideas for decorating a room?
Im looking for a way to decorate my room. I recently moved into a new apartment, at my last one, my room just didnt feel like home. Im looking for a way to decorate the room with a black/red theme. No im not looking for a goth theme, or a punk rocker or any of the jazz. It just so happens that is the color scheme im looking for. The room is white carpet with white walls, the norm. How can i decorate the room with the black/red theme? I already have black satin sheets and so on so the bed is covered. and already have black dresser
My ideas so far-
I was thinking i can buy big sheets of black to cover the walls, thumbtack that in, so that solves the walls. Same can be done to the ceiling, but the carpet issue still is a problem.
How should i solve the carpet issue? Note that this is a apartment, and taking up the carpet is not possible.
Money is not a issue, but cheaper the better.

ok if ur not going for the goth look then i think since ur bed will already be black you should paint the walls red or put up red sheets and then buy a big red rug for the floor so ur walls are red the furniture is black and the floor has red on it so there is some balance..i wouldnt worry about the ceiling no one really cares about the ceiling. but a red lamp top with a black stand… mix in some red pillow shams for ur bed.
